David Spencer
Assistant Vice Principal - Quality of Education (Data and Intervention)
Dave grew up in Huddersfield and went on to study Chemical Engineering at Loughborough University. A keen sportsman, he played Rugby League in France, and then travelled before returning to become a Science teacher.
Dave has been teaching 29 years and has taught at a number of different schools including Wortley High School. He has worked at Assistant Head level at Tong High school, Dixons Allerton and Carlton Bolling.
At Dixons unity Academy he has a number of responsibilities including Raising Achievement and Curriculum.
Dave has a passion for empowering and enabling students and colleagues to be the best they can be.
