Date of Event: 27th June 2025
Dear families
Just three weeks to go now until the summer holidays and what a week we have ahead. But first...
This Week's Highlights: We've had a bustling week filled with exciting activities and important milestones:
- Cycle 3 Assessments: Our students have been working diligently on their assessments, teachers are now marking them in preparation for reports at the end of the year.
- Year 6 Transition Visits: Additional visits have helped some of our Year 6 students feel more comfortable as they prepare for the next big step in their educational journey.
- Trips Galore: Year 7, Year 8, and Year 9 students enjoyed various educational trips including to York and Blackpool!
- Notre Dame Sixth Form Visit: A wonderful opportunity for our Y10 students to explore future educational pathways.
- International Visitors: We had the pleasure of welcoming school leaders from Australia, enriching our community with global perspectives.
Looking Ahead: Next week promises to be just as exciting with a host of events and activities:
- International Visitors: We will continue to welcome more visitors from Australia and South Africa(!)
- Trust Sports Day: All 17 schools in our trust will compete in a day of fun and friendly competition - we're hoping to take home the crown in our snazzy new athletics uniforms.
- Year 11 Trip to Flamingo Land: A well-deserved day out for our Year 11 students to celebrate their success this year.
- Year 10 Geography Trip to Bridlington: An educational trip to enhance their geographical knowledge.
- Year 6 Transition Days: Two full days transition activities on Thursday and Friday to ensure a smooth move to their new year (look out for the Facebook posts and texts for more info!)
- Reading Age Testing: Throughout the week, we will be conducting reading age tests to support our literacy programs.
Thank you for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community. We look forward to another productive and rewarding week ahead!
