A memorable October Half-Term for Year 10 and 11 at Dixons Unity Academy

During the October holidays, 45 of our Year 10 and 11 students embarked on an unforgettable trip to Paris, packed with culture, fun, and a touch of Disney magic.
The adventure began with classic Parisian sightseeing. We snapped selfies beneath the iconic Eiffel Tower, strolled up the bustling Champs-Élysées, and stood in awe before the majestic Arc de Triomphe. The city’s charm was undeniable, and spirits were high as students soaked in the atmosphere.
Tuesday brought a change of pace with a full day at Disneyland Paris. From thrilling rides to delicious food, the day was a whirlwind of excitement. The highlight? A breathtaking fireworks display that lit up the night sky and left everyone speechless.
Wednesday offered a more reflective experience as we visited Dunkirk. Students explored the 1940 Museum and deepened their understanding of Operation Dynamo, gaining insight into the bravery and resilience shown during the evacuation.
The trip was a perfect blend of fun, learning, and unforgettable memories. Paris, you were magnifique!
