Principals update - 11 September 2026

Dear families

Our first full week back has come to a close, and students have settled well into their routines. It's been brilliant to walk around school and see a culture of great concentration and engagement. We're setting ourselves up for a really positive year. 

I'd like to remind families that our core values of Integrity, Resilience and Respect extend to our community. When contacting school, please treat our staff with the respect they deserve. I'd also like to remind students to be safe while travelling to and from school, and not to walk across the drive while entering school property but instead stick to the clearly marked pedestrian areas.

This week, Ms Paddy met with our Student Leadership team to discuss the upcoming school year. It's great to see this vital part of our school already up and running. We also had our second Unity Community Friday, in which we welcomed the local community into our building to enjoy activities and access our food pantry. This is available to everyone in the local area, so do pop down. 

Information will be going out to families about our Flamingo Land trip, which rewards excellent attendance. Do keep your eyes out for that, as we want to see as many students as possible enjoying a reward for the resilience they've shown over the last year. Thank you for all the hard work you put into ensuring our young people are in school and learning to the best of their abilities.
