Principal's update 12 September 2025
Posted 12th September 2025
Dear families
Thank you for helping us achieve our best-ever attendance this week—it’s wonderful to see so many students engaged and learning together. Your support truly sets the tone for a successful term. Let’s keep up the great momentum!
We’re excited to announce the launch of our enrichment programme, with over 20 clubs now running across different departments. More than 100 students joined clubs this week, and we encourage every student to get involved. Details of all clubs are available on our Facebook page. Year 11 students, your intervention programme starts next week as we prepare for mock exams after half term.
Looking ahead, the Generation Together programme begins Tuesday in partnership with Armley Helping Hands, offering new opportunities for our students. On Thursday evening, we’re hosting our Year 6 Open Evening at 5:00 PM—please spread the word and invite families considering their next steps.
This Saturday, the Armley Festival returns to Armley Moor from 1:30 PM, featuring community games, music, food, and activities. We’re proud to have students and staff volunteering at the event and hope to see many of you there.
A final reminder: Year 10 and Year 11 students will be completing their BTEC assessments next week. These are important final exams, so please ensure students attend every day, on time, and ready to learn.
Thank you for your continued support. We’ll keep you updated each week with all the latest news and key information.
