Dear Unity Community

I want to start my update this week with a big shout out to our girls rugby team the Y7/8 Girls Tag Rugby Dixons Cup! The girls went unbeaten against four other Dixons schools. What an incredible achievement!

This week our Y7 and Y9 students have been hard at work on their cycle assessments. I have observed great resilience and conduct throughout the school and students have been keen to show their best. In addition, our careers programme has been thriving with Y10 visiting one of the 'big 4' - KPMG and various projects with the Kings Trust and Leeds to Success. Y11s have also received their mock exam timetables this week along with information on revision resources that will be helpful to them.

Next week, those projects continue along with various sporting endeavours including in rugby and netball - hopefully the success from this week continues. Y7 and Y9 will also be finishing off their assessments (for which I am sure they will be revising hard this weekend)!

Finally this week a reminder that we have a clear no jewellery policy which includes clear studs. All jewellery should be removed prior to passing the threshold in to student reception when students arrive.
