Principal's update - 5 September 2025
Posted 5th September 2025
Dear families
Thank you for making the start of our new term such a positive one. We were delighted to see our best-ever attendance on the first day back—your support really does make a difference and helps set the tone for a successful year ahead. Let’s keep this momentum going next week!
Next week, Year 7 students will be taking reading tests. These help us understand how best to support them in their lessons and ensure everyone gets off to a strong start.
A highlight for everyone—school photo day—is coming up next Friday. Please make sure uniforms are smart and hair is tidy so we can capture everyone looking their best. More details will be sent out soon.
A quick reminder about drop-off and pick-up: If your child can walk or cycle to school, that’s ideal and helps keep our site safe and calm. If you do need to drive, please use the left side for morning drop-off (avoiding double yellow lines), turn at the roundabout, and exit promptly. For afternoon pick-up, use the designated car park and follow the one-way system. When leaving, please wait at the stop sign and give way to incoming traffic—this system has made a real difference to safety for everyone.
Thank you again for your ongoing support. We’ll continue to keep you updated each week with all the latest news and important information.
Mr Jacobs
