Principal's Update - 6 June 2025
Posted 6th June 2025
Dear families,
I hope this message finds you well. I apologise for the lack of video updates over the past few weeks, but I'm pleased to announce that we are back on track.
We've had a great first week back, and this week was packed with important activities and our Year 11, Year 10, and Year 9 students were busy with their assessments throughout the week.
On Monday, we had the ESOL enrolment at college and our prom pop-up shop after school. Tuesday brought the Armley Helping Hands celebration, a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together. Thursday, our Duke of Edinburgh students embarked on their practice walk (despite the rain!), and on Friday, we have workplace visits planned to Leeds Trinity for students in Year 9.
Additionally, we are excited to start visiting all our new Year 6 students at their primary schools! If we haven't already been, see you soon!
Looking ahead to next week, we will continue with assessments, including Spanish speaking assessments, and our visits to primary schools will continue. We're ramping up to a busy few weeks with lots of trips and activities so keep your eyes peeled!
Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to another productive and rewarding term.
Mr Jacobs
