Dear families

Happy Friday!

I want to start by congratulating two of our Y11 students - Ronnie and Nathan. They recently won the Kings Trust Community Impact Award. This was awarded to them for their work on the design and launch of the Unity Community which is still open every Friday morning. A huge well done to them!

Y11 exams are well underway and ramp up further next week with the start of the GCSE examinations. Our drop down timetable to ensure focused and impactful revision sessions also kicks in next week and Y11 have had all these details.

This week we launched our Theme Park attendance incentive yet - the theme park trip. Students with attendance above 97% between now and the trip will be eligible so attendance every day is essential! We also opened up one of our residential trips to Newby Wiske to current Y7 students so please click the link via Facebook if you would like to express interest in your child attending.

Next week, as well as the Y11 examinations we have a photography trip going out on Tuesday and a Y10 cricket fixture happening on Wednesday. Throughout this term we still have a range of exciting clubs so please do encourage your child to attend. At the start of next term we'll also be attending our Trust sports day competing against other schools across the North so look out for more information on that.
